Designing with an extensive history of experience specializing in all types of dental offices, medical offices & spas, optometry, dermatology as well as specialty retail boutiques. Pernula Design is dedicated to keeping projects within budget while formulating the highest impact for the dollar spent.  

 Alona, an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer, has a true love and passion for design and this dedication is given to every project. Alona grew up in Spokane, Washington and her love for art and design emerged by watching her grandmother, an artist and entrepreneur, create beautiful paintings. With admiration for her work, Alona eventually picked up her own paintbrush and started her pursuit for art and design. Alona obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design from Washington State University and began designing at a successful design firm in Spokane. She then moved to Seattle and continued her career designing coffee shops for Starbucks Coffee Company. Eventually, Alona settled with her family in Olympia, Washington and has spent the majority of her career designing medical and dental offices. With extensive experience in dental and medical office design, Alona loves working with business owners to help create offices that are beautiful, state-of-the-art, and helping clients to create maximum efficiency in their new practice. 
Alona loves traveling to new places, wake-surfing, long weekend runs, creative cooking, and most of all, enjoys her time spent with her three children, family and friends.
